This all natural product works!
Partnering with Clarke Mosquito Control Products, Inc and the godfather of BTI, we're thrilled to offer a potent solution against fungus gnats - a small package of highly concentrated BTI in Kaolin Clay carrier!
Becker microbial was the pioneer now sold to Clarke Mosquito Control, and this product is now offered in small 8 ounce bag.
WDG3000 means Water Dispersible Granules, utilized at 3000 ITU/mg.
ITU stands for International Toxin Units. While Bits and Mosquito Dunk products are labeled down to 200 ITU/mg, our product targets a 3000 ITU/mg concentration for maximum efficiency.
When comparing to other brands of BTI you will discover 4 "Strains" of BTI with different names - all leading back to the original strain discovered by Becker Microbial. This was proven with DNA sequencing
This means direct access to the original, potent source, ensuring you use the proper ITU rate with this premium concentrate.
Our product is 43% BTI and 57% Kaolin Clay
Kaolinite is a soft, earthy, usually white, mineral (dioctahedral phyllosilicate clay), produced by the chemical weathering of aluminium silicate minerals like feldspar
Mixing Rate Guidance (Ground Application)
The following mixing guidance is derived from the EPA-approved application rate range of 50–400 grams per acre when applied in 5–100 gallons of water per acre.
For ground application using 25 gallons of spray mixture per acre:
Use higher labeled rates in polluted water and when late third and early fourth instar larvae predominate, mosquito populations are high, and/or algae are abundant, as directed on the EPA-approved label.
Always read and follow the complete EPA-approved product label. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Reapply as necessary to maintain larval control, particularly in polluted water or water containing moderate to high levels of organic matter, as directed on the EPA-approved label.
For general reference only:
The bulk density of this product is approximately 2 grams per level teaspoon.
Always measure product by weight when preparing spray mixtures. Use of calibrated scales is recommended to ensure accurate dosing consistent with the EPA-approved label.
