Yah Whey by Thrive Probiotics Revolutionary liquid probiotic crafted from the Whey of Kefir Researching Kefir quickly leads one to find a myriad of legends pertaining to this ancient, thousands of year old, practice of fermenting milk to produce a stable probiotic. This probiotic is legendary for its health properties. Ingredients: Purified Water, Organic Molasses, Yeast Cultures, Lactic Acid Bacteria, Humic Acid Whey from kefir grains have a complex microbial biology composition with polysaccharides, nutrients, minerals and proteins. These fermented compounds create a diverse probiotic whey for your plants and soil. Soon you'll be shouting, YAH WHEY!!!!! As your plants pray to the light. Check out the photo of the active fermentation. That is without any magnification! The image is taken with a normal cell phone camera. So what does that have to do with growing plants? Organic matter in the garden is broken down by probiotics, but an often forgotten component is the Nitrogen that the breakdown requires to speed up the process. Composting is all about Carbon to Nitrogen ratios. Organic Potting soils can have high carbon and when amending with rice hulls and organic amendments the soil can have an elevated C:N ratio which means the soil will be taking Nitrogen for a while before it starts to release it again. Now that you understand the problem, you can clearly see the solution. YAH WHEY! When you use stabilized Kefir Whey designed by Thrive you will be simultaneously feeding the soil much needed amino proteins (Nitrogen) That will help the breakdown of nutrients and also make readily available food for your plants. Once you see the level of calcium, nutrients and vitamins that are contained within kefir and combine that with the knowledge of the diversity of lactobacillus cultures present you can really start to understand that this is more than your average product. This Yah Whey was made to help your soil and your plants THRIVE! Storage: Keep product in dark cool area. Keep fully sealed after use. For extended storage (4-12 months) store in fridge. Contents will expire after 12 months if not opened. Contents contain living organisms, use accordingly DirectionsIt can be used as a soil-drench or foliar application: 0.5-1 Ounces per gallon Foliar Applications, Seed Starting and Rooting Clones (Plug or Aeroponic Rooting) 1-2 Ounces/Gallon of water for Soil Drench applications 2-4+ Ounces/Gallon for Composting, Animal Feed, and starting your own Ferments

They expand so swiftly that before you know it, new branches have sprouted! 🌳💨 While their growth might not be instantaneous, they're among the champions of fast growth in the plant world 🌍. Behind this phenomenon lies science. The secret sauce? A unique plant hormone known as indolebutyric acid 🌱💪. Next time you're trimming your exuberant willow, think twice before discarding those branches 🚫🗑️. They hold the essence of willow's powerful growth hormones, perfect for nurturing other plants. Experience the magic of this DIY rooting hormone, and watch your plants thrive like never before 🚀🌱. 📜 Tracing Willow's Roots 📜 The vast Salix genus boasts over 400 willow species sprinkled across the globe 🌐. Beyond its rapid growth, willow holds a rich medicinal legacy, notably as nature's precursor to aspirin. Extracted salicylic acid from willow bark gives us this pain-relieving wonder 💊. Long before aspirin's debut in 1899, indigenous cultures have revered the bark and leaves of the willow tree for its therapeutic properties against pain and inflammation 🌿🩺. Before the age of commercial rooting agents, the willow stood out as the go-to natural enhancer for plant propagation 🌱🔄. 🌱 Rooting Hormone: Nature's Growth Elixir 🌱 📃 Crafting Willow Water: A Rooting Concoction 📃 Fermentation takes longer and locks in the benefits for long term storage but you can also make a faster version at home. Discover the art of brewing willow branch tea, your secret weapon for robust plant propagations 🌱💦. 🌿 Willow Water Rooting Solution 🌿 Materials: Young willow branches (ideally those that are no thicker than a pencil and from the current year's growth) A large container or bucket Boiling water Glass jar or bottle for storing Procedure: Collection of Willow Branches: Search for a willow tree and cut some young, healthy branches. Remember, the newer the growth, the higher the concentration of the rooting hormone (indolebutyric acid). Preparation of the Branches: Remove all the leaves from the branches. Cut the branches into small pieces, around 1-2 inches long. Steeping the Willow Pieces: Place the cut willow pieces into your container or bucket. Pour boiling water over the willow pieces, ensuring they are fully submerged. Let the mixture sit and steep for 12-24 hours. This allows the water to extract the rooting hormone from the willow pieces. Straining and Storing: After steeping, strain the willow pieces out, collecting the water in a glass jar or bottle. Your willow water rooting solution is now ready to use! Application: For plant cuttings: Soak the base of your cuttings in the willow water for several hours before planting them. For already potted plants: Water them with the willow water solution to encourage root growth. As a growth boost: Occasionally water your plants with willow water as it not only promotes rooting but also can give plants a growth boost due to the presence of beneficial compounds. Storage and Shelf Life: It's best to store your willow water in the refrigerator if you're not using it immediately. Use within 2 months for best results. After this period, the effectiveness may decrease. If you instead opt to purchase our Fermented Version the shelf life is MUCH longer and will last years at room temperature. Benefits of Willow Water: Willow water is a natural alternative to commercial rooting hormones. It contains salicylic acid, which can help protect plants from diseases. The solution encourages root growth and can boost the overall health of the plant.

Bananas and the peels are rich in nutrients such as potassium, phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium, which are essential for plant growth. Other nutrients and vitamins are also found but in lower concentrations. When fermented, these nutrients become more bioavailable to plants, promoting healthier and more robust growth. Bananas also contain a fiber known as inulin which is a prebiotic. Prebiotics feed probiotics and help them colonize in our guts and in soil! Our banana ferment is made to be used during flowering periods of all plants. It can also be used during the transition period between vegetative growth and fruiting. Application: For soil drenching, use at a rate of 1-4oz per gallon of feed water. Foliar applications can be made during the very early stages of fruiting/flowering at a rate of 1-3oz per gallon. For use as a compost accelerator use at a rate of 5-10 oz per gallon of water.
