Each product will have an estimated ship date and those dates are accurate and being monitored everyday.
Below you'll find a detailed explanation as to what to expect for the different ways we handle orders.
1. Order now, with ships by and delivered by dates available
2. Estimated Ship Date with no delivery dates available: We have manufacturers that will ship directly to you in the event we are out of stock. This means that we do not know exactly when it will ship but we encourage our partners to get the items out within 3 days. Occasionally this will take longer and is not 100% in our control.
3. Backordered: This is because the product is currently in route to us or we are waiting on part of the item to produce. When this happens we still know what to expect with accuracy and will tell you when to expect the shipment.

Shipping Times: After Fulfillment
- BuildASoil Shipping – 1-5 Days Shipping (USPS, Fedex, UPS)
- BuildASoil Freight – 1-7 Days Transit time depending on distance. Please note that the estimated delivery on freight shipments is the estimated date that the shipment will reach the nearest terminal to your delivery location, and final delivery can take anywhere from 1-10 business days following the delivering terminal receiving the shipment. The carrier will reach out to you to schedule final delivery. Please input an accurate phone number and shipping address during checkout for delivery.

How is shipping calculated?
We use the product length, width, height, and weight. We send this info through a custom system that calculates the absolute best box to combine your items into. This box and weight info is then sent within seconds to the carrier and back again to display the real time rates. We do not ever add money to our shipping rates.
How does freight work?
Freight shipping is our go to shipping option for when your order has become too big to ship through ordinary parcel. With freight shipping, your order will go onto a box truck or semi trailer. Depending on whether you are a residential or commercial customer, we will make sure the proper accessories are selected from our end to make delivery as easy as possible for you! With a freight delivery, the shipping carrier will contact you and likely schedule a delivery appointment to make sure you are there at time of delivery and can sign for the shipment.
Do not sign for your order until you have confirmed an identical count of boxes, bags, rolls, bundles, pails, etc. and have checked very carefully for apparent and/or concealed damage. We will not accept any responsibility for missing and/or damaged items unless you note a count discrepancy and/or identify damage on the bill of lading at the time of delivery!
Tracking and Receiving Orders:
All orders shipping via FedEx or USPS, you will be provided with tracking information via an email to the email address provided on the order on the day the order is shipped. Please contact us immediately if you think your shipment is lost or if your shipment arrives damaged.
When your order arrives, open the package immediately and inspect the content against the packing slip; it is especially important to check viability on living products immediately. Notify us immediately of any shortages or damage, do not discard any damaged items or shipping cartons. The shipping company may require an inspection prior to approving any claim.
Claims Policy:
Visible Damage, Concealed Damage, and Missing Content Claims - Visible Damage is defined as any damage to the packaging that is identifiable without opening the package at the time of delivery. Concealed Damage is defined as any damage that is not immediately noticeable at the time the package is opened or when the product is first used. Missing Content is defined as any package that is missing product that the packing slip states is included. These types of claims must be made directly to BuildASoil within 5 business days of delivery. Any claims made after that time cannot be honored. Incorrect Delivery and Lost Package Claims - Incorrect Delivery is defined as any incident where the driver delivers the package to the wrong address or individual. Lost Packages may occur in two ways. First, lost packages may occur when packages are not able to be located within the carrier's network. Second, a package may be considered lost when the carrier claims delivery was completed by leaving the package on the doorstep, but the customer cannot locate the package. Both incorrect delivery and lost package incidents are usually discovered through standard tracking of the package.
Claims for either of these problems must be made directly to BuildASoil upon discovery. No claims will be honored after 30 days from shipment date. Please contact BuildASoil at 855-877-7645 or email Support@BuildASoil.com to make such a claim.

Items are generally shipped to these locations via USPS or FedEx One Rate. Boat and Barge shipments for palletized orders are available. Call for a quote. Perishable items and beneficial insects cannot ship to these locations.

Niwa Grow Hub+
With the all new Grow Hub, Niwa brings commercial grade features, such as controlling your plant’s climate (humidity, temperature and VPD) or automated watering and custom light schedules to the domestic grower at an affordable price.
With the goal of supporting a hassle free and high performance grow, Niwa has developed powerful software that enable growers to automate their setups in a very simple way- just by having users plug their existing devices (such as lamps, fans, extractors, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, A/C, pumps, or heaters) to the Niwa Grow Hub.
Live Dashboard
For those moments when growers are concerned about what’s going on in their garden, there is no need to worry anymore! With the Niwa Grow Hub app, growers can now check the current status of their garden by glancing at their live dashboard, anytime, anywhere, and in a secure way.
Grow Recipes
Once the Niwa Grow Hub app is up and running, growers can either pick one of the existing Niwa grow recipes or create one themselves. It is at this step, when creating a grow recipe, growers can begin to customize the ideal environment they’re seeking and the different schedules wanted for their plants. Environmental settings such as VPD, temperature, humidity along with watering and light schedules are all completely customizable, so growers have optimum control over their plants.
Recipe Stages
Plants have different needs in terms of their climate, lighting schedule and how much water is required throughout different times of the day. Creating a grow recipe within the Niwa Grow Hub app allows for several stages to define the different parameters needed for each stage of a plant. To continue building out a grow recipe, growers need to select the “next stage” button in order to customize their setting per stage within the plant’s growth cycle.
Alarms & Notifications
Having alarms and notifications will allow growers to determine the temperature and humidity thresholds important for them and alert growers when their lamp is performing poorly and also for when one of the sensors is having an issue.
Outlet Configuration
Every growers setup is unique to their needs and the Niwa Grow Hub allows users to keep their setup and automate at the same time. Growers can configure their Niwa Grow Hub to control up to four of the following devices at the same time:
- Fan
- Lamp
- Humidifier
- Dehumidifier
- Cooler (A/C)
- Heater
- Watering Pump
Each outlet is capable of handling 10A (resistive load) either at 125V or 240V for a total of 15A MAX. Larger loads can be handled through accessories (not included).
Please Note: The Niwa Grow Hub is capable of handling input/output voltages either 120Vac or 240Vac. If you plug your Niwa into a 120Vac wall outlet all the four outputs will be 120Vac, if you connect it to a 240Vac wall outlet all the four outputs will be 240Vac. The most common household voltage in the United States and Canada is 120V, however, some growers might have access to a 240V grid. If that’s the case, please make sure all your devices work with 240V.
Stats
Logging & measuring the different parameters affecting a crops success is fundamental in order to achieve maximum performance. The Grow Hub has a built-in datalogger accessible from our app anytime where you can view historical data in the ‘stats’ section and get insight to how your plants are doing and what is affecting them.
Automation In Minutes
Building a setup capable of monitoring and automatically controlling growing equipment simultaneously is often difficult as it will require different devices such as temperature, humidity, or ventilation controllers and monitors, which adds cost and complexity. The Niwa Grow Hub combines all the control of multiple pieces of grow equipment into one single device and app, easing plant management and reducing the risk of making mistakes at an affordable cost.
Connectivity
The Niwa Grow Hub incorporates the reliable WiFi 2.4Ghz standard to guarantee growers' access to their plants from anywhere, at any time. Also, Niwa has built strict security protocols into their software to guarantee absolute privacy and protection.
Over-The-Air Firmware
The Niwa Grow Hub is enabled with Over-The-Air Firmware and app updates that guarantee the latest features are instantly accessible to all growers. On top of that, the Niwa Grow Hub is fitted with the Niwa Grownet standard that will connect growers with the next generation of Niwa Grow devices effortlessly and wirelessly.
Monitoring
Monitoring is important to avoid fatal mistakes and earn maximum yield. But it is not enough. If your setup cannot automatically control the lamps or operate the different equipment to automatically correct a risky situation such as excess of temperature, when your monitor warns you, it may be too late. The Niwa Grow Hub closes the control loop for your peace of mind.

Very ok product
The Niwa GrowHub+ was an enormous improvement over not having automated environmental control. That being said, there's room to get better. My system takes a few tries to switch from 'auto' mode to 'manual' or vice versa (which may be because it doesn't play nicely with 5G wifi. Also, the outlets only work for limited options in limited configurations. It would be better, too, if the settings on the app were 'remembered' so i don't have to remove VPD, CO2, and DewPoint from the graph every time I want to see the chart in usable detail. Luckily my needs are basic...so I kinda love it even if this review seems to the contrary. Also, I was ready to pay the $199 list price on the website, but I think it only cost $129 once it was in my cart. So, great value for the price.

I like the product but there costumer service is very bad for a year my Niwa has shut off at random or stayed on past it’s scheduled time. When reaching out they have told me I didn’t set it up right when it has ran fine the way I set it up for 3 or more months.
Not build a soils fault just think people should know you may have a few problems

Excellent product
The NIWA Grow hub has been an invaluable tool for me to help me monitor things remotely, automate my equipment and give me peace of mind! I wish the Co2 sensor would have been available when I purchased so I could have gotten that too.
Customer service is also top notch, I dealt with Zack and he was 100% spot on for everything I needed and took care of everything I needed and more.. I highly recommend this product!
