Once full, take the bokashi compost and bury outside for 2 to 3 weeks. After the 2 to 3 weeks, simply dig up and use as you would any other compost. The bag on the inside is bio-degradable, and can be composted. The bag on the outside is a reusable cotton bag!

The Growing Organic company has specially formulated this recipe to have more phosphorus than our original recipe, Kashi Blend.Then they went a step further and inoculated the bio-char in the recipe with Rootwise Bio Phos for increased diversity and phosphorus solubility.Kashi Bloom is made from organic rice bran, organic quinoa flour, minerals, multiple species of lactic acid bacteria, molasses and bio char inoculated with pure protein dry and Rootwise Bio Phos. This recipe has a higher phosphorus percentage than our original recipe and is made for use during fruiting/flowering. Application Rate:As a top dress: For each square foot of growing space, add a third of a cup of Kashi Bloom every two weeks or when you top dress other dry amendments.As a soil additive when building soil: Use 1% by volume of Kashi Bloom for soil building. For Bokashi Composting: Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of bokashi atop your food waste in a bokashi composting set up every couple of inches of food waste that is accumulated. Compost Piles: 10-15lbs per yard of compost. Storage & Warnings:If you want to use bokashi to brew teas, we highly recommend you do not brew the tea for more than 12 hours for maximum microbe diversity. Bananas and the peels are rich in nutrients such as potassium, phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium, which are essential for plant growth. Other nutrients and vitamins are also found but in lower concentrations. When fermented, these nutrients become more bioavailable to plants, promoting healthier and more robust growth. Bananas also contain a fiber known as inulin which is a prebiotic. Prebiotics feed probiotics and help them colonize in our guts and in soil! Our banana ferment is made to be used during flowering periods of all plants. It can also be used during the transition period between vegetative growth and fruiting. Application: For soil drenching, use at a rate of 1-4oz per gallon of feed water. Foliar applications can be made during the very early stages of fruiting/flowering at a rate of 1-3oz per gallon. For use as a compost accelerator use at a rate of 5-10 oz per gallon of water.
